Dr. Shovon Kasem
Dr. Shovon Kasem is the founder of Restoration Dental in Clermont, FL. Dr. Kasem earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the prestigious University of Florida. At UF, he was noted to be among the top clinically gifted dentists. and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award and the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award. He is a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and is a member of AGD, ADA, FDA, CFDA, AAID, AACD.
As a respected figure in the dental community, Dr. Kasem continued his passion for education through teaching. He lectures all over the country, where he teaches dentists and surgeons continuing education on 3D printing, implant dentistry, and practice management. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He is an Invited Lecturer and Adjunct Faculty at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He lectures for Digital Educators, and Implant Educators Academy. He is a speaker for Blatchford Solutions, a dental consulting company. He also serves as a key opinion leader for many leading dental companies, offering his expertise on their product development.
Dr. Kasem’s teaching extends beyond the borders of the United States. He has partnered with University of Florida on humanitarian trips to Guatemala and Ecuador, where each year he takes dental students from UF to teach them hands on surgery on indigenous populations.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kasem has continuously sought out advanced training to expand his skills and provide his patients with the most cutting-edge restorative treatments. He has completed over 700 hours of continuing education and acquired numerous degrees and certifications following his dental school training, placing him among the top dentists in clinical training. His skills include implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, bone and gingival reconstruction, orthodontics and Invisalign, treatment of sleep apnea, laser dentistry, and robotically guided surgery.
Restoration Dental was created by Dr. Kasem to offer patients the top dental practice in the country for exceptional dental care. They take pride in being the office that patients trust to get things done right, even if it means traveling from other states. In fact they have patients that travel from several states, including California, New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Hawaii, and even a patient from Ireland!
Dr. Kasem's goal is to change his patients’ lives through transforming their smile and restoring their confidence. When he's not creating perfect smiles or inspiring other dentists, Dr. Kasem enjoys spending time with his wife and beagles, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and different cuisines.
Dr. Jennifer Claussen
A determined and passionate individual who had always dreamed of making a positive impact in the field of dentistry. After years of rigorous education and training at Rutgers Dental school of Medicine, Dr. Claussen finally achieved her goal of becoming a dentist. Armed with a deep sense of purpose and a thirst for knowledge, she embarked on her professional journey, eager to provide exceptional care to her patients.
Fresh out of dental school, Dr. Claussen joined a bustling dental practice in the heart of her city. Her enthusiasm and dedication to her craft quickly made her a valued member of the team. From the moment she greeted her first patient, Dr. Claussen' genuine warmth and empathy shone through, putting even the most anxious individuals at ease.
As Dr. Claussen’s career progresses, she continues to expand her skills and knowledge, attending professional development courses and staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. Wishing one day that her commitment to excellence and her genuine care for her patients will help her earn a stellar reputation in the industry.
Dr. Claussen is originally from Cali, Colombia and she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, staying active, and traveling.
