Dr. Shovon Kasem's passion for dentistry and commitment to excellence has been shaped by his diverse educational background and extensive training. He began his journey at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Driven by a desire to understand the intricate connections between oral health and overall well-being, Dr. Kasem pursued a Master's in Human Nutrition and a Master's in Biomedicine. He then graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kasem has continuously sought out advanced training to expand his skills and provide his patients with the most cutting-edge restorative treatments. He has completed numerous courses and certifications in dental implants, surgery, and grafting, allowing him to offer the best possible care to his patients. As a respected figure in the dental community, Dr. Kasem serves as a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor at UF College of Dentistry, an Invited Lecturer at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, and a Lecturer for Implant Educators and Digital Educators. He is also a speaker for FirstFit Veneers and Evident Digital, where he shares his expertise with fellow dentists. Dr. Kasem's affiliations with the ADA, FDA, AAID, ICOI, and AACD demonstrate his commitment to staying at the forefront of the field.
